Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or mobile app (powered by Clerk), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are signing up on behalf of a family member, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind them to these terms.

2. Eligibility & Physical Requirements

Stroll is a social wellness club designed for active seniors. To ensure the safety of our members and the consistency of our group pace:

  • Independence: Members must be able to walk independently for at least 30 minutes.
  • Mobility Aids: Our routes involve public spaces, uneven terrain, and potential inclines. Stroll is not designed for individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, or canes. By joining, you certify that you do not require these aids for outdoor movement.
  • Medical Clearance: We strongly recommend consulting a physician before starting any new exercise program.

3. Billing & Subscriptions (via Stripe)

We offer transparent billing options:

  • Weekly Stroll Pass: Billed in full at the time of signup for 7 days of access.
  • Monthly/Quarterly Subscriptions: Billed on a recurring basis.
  • Cancellation: In compliance with 2026 consumer protection laws, we offer a “Simple Cancellation” policy. You may cancel via your account dashboard at any time; access will continue until the end of your current paid period.

4. Liability & Assumption of Risk

Walking in public spaces involves inherent risks, including but not limited to trips, falls, weather-related incidents, and traffic.

  • Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks related to participation in a Stroll event.
  • Release of Liability: You agree to release Stroll Walking Club™, its guides, and its officers from all claims of Bodily Injury (BI) or Property Damage (PD) arising from your participation.
  • Emergency Contact: You authorize Stroll guides to contact your designated emergency contact or 911 in the event of a medical emergency.

5. Privacy & Data

  • Family Visibility: If you choose the “Family Visibility” option, designated family members will have access to your walk history and location logs for safety purposes. Invited family members are required to sign a mini-agreement limiting their use of this data strictly to senior safety.
  • Data Security: We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. We do not store credit card information (handled by Stripe) or passwords (handled by Clerk).

6. Code of Conduct

To keep our community frictionless and friendly, we reserve the right to remove any member who engages in harassing, unsafe, or disruptive behavior toward other walkers or our guides.
